They smile at you out of hospital windows
When you’re passing by your head in somewhere
She’s staring too into an undefined space
But when your eyes meet there comes a smile
It starts from her and it is contagious so you give it back
Dragged out or led out of discomfort
To a shared understanding
To a calmness
To being okay
Have I told you that she looked old
Like in her late 70‘s
Was she with her husband
Was it serious
Why was she smiling
Why was she smiling first
Did she think that I need it
Did she see it
